Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information affbid.lol (“affbid”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use the Service, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We built the Service to work without user accounts, so most of what we collect is either data you type into a form yourself or lightweight, aggregate usage data — not a profile we build on you.

1. Scope

This Policy covers information collected through affbid.lol. It does not cover third-party sites you reach by clicking a listing, or the practices of our payment processor beyond what it shares back with us — see Section 5.

2. Information We Collect

Listing submissions. When you submit or edit a listing, we store the title, description, destination URL, category, bid amount, and — if you provide it — a Telegram handle or email address for contact purposes. This field is never displayed publicly; it exists only so we can reach you about your listing.

Payment records. We store the amount, currency, status, and provider reference of each payment so we can apply the correct rank and provide a management link. We do not receive, process, or store your card number or other full payment credentials — those are handled directly by our payment processor.

Usage and analytics data. We keep an aggregate count of site visits and a rolling count of how many sessions are active in a short window (“N online” on the homepage), and a per-listing click counter. These are counts, not per-person histories — visits are counted once per browser session via a value stored in your browser, not tied to any identity.

Technical data. Like any web service, our hosting infrastructure processes standard technical data for each request (such as IP address and user agent) as an inherent part of serving the page and keeping the Service secure. We do not use this to build individual visitor profiles.

Admin access. If you are an administrator of the Service, a session cookie is set after you log in to keep you authenticated. This does not apply to ordinary visitors or listing submitters.

3. How We Use Information

  • to publish and rank your listing as described in our Terms of Use;
  • to contact you about your listing (for example, a moderation decision) if you provided contact details;
  • to process payments and apply the resulting rank;
  • to detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms; and
  • to understand aggregate usage of the Service and keep it running reliably.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We use a small number of first-party cookies and browser-storage values, all functional rather than advertising-related:

  • an httpOnly session cookie for administrators, described in Section 2;
  • a value in your browser’s session storage that marks a visit as already counted, so navigating between pages in the same tab is not counted as multiple visits;
  • a short-lived, randomly generated session identifier used only to power the “N online” indicator, with no identity attached to it; and
  • a value used only to restore your scroll position when switching category tabs.

We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Most browsers let you block or clear cookies and local storage; doing so will not prevent you from browsing or submitting a listing, but may reset the scroll-restore and visit-count behaviors described above.

5. Third Parties and Sharing

We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate affbid, specifically:

  • our payment processor, to process payments — it receives your payment details directly and shares back only the transaction status and reference we need;
  • our database and hosting providers, who store and serve the Service’s data on our behalf, under their own security obligations; and
  • a favicon lookup service, which receives only the domain name of a submitted link (never any of your personal data) to fetch a site icon.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of affbid, our users, or others.

6. Data Retention

We keep listing and payment data for as long as the listing remains active or as needed for accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal-compliance purposes after it is removed. Aggregate usage counters (visits, clicks) are not tied to an identity and are kept indefinitely as running totals. You can request deletion of your listing and associated contact details at any time — see Section 8.

7. Data Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we hold, including access controls on our database and encrypted connections between your browser and our servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Because the Service does not use accounts, most changes to your own listing can be made directly through the private management link you received after payment — no request to us is needed for that. Beyond that, depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12; we may ask for information to verify that the request relates to your own listing.

9. International Transfers

Our service providers may process and store data in countries other than your own. Where this involves a transfer of personal data across borders, we rely on our providers’ own safeguards for international transfers.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will remove it.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
